Happy Holidays

Tis’ the reason for the season!

One of my favorite quotes says, “You gotta have a why! You gotta have a reason for why you do what you do!” As we celebrate Christmas and the holiday season, let Christ be the reason for the season. If you’re giving a gift, do it for your love for Christ and others. If you’re receiving gifts, receive them giving thanks to the Lord for the gift and the giver.

This Christmas season is different in many ways due to the unfortunate circumstances going on right now. Many won’t get to see their families like normal and do activities that they’re used to doing.

However, it’s always a blessing to be reminded of the wonderful birth of Christ and how amazing that day must have been. The same hope that His birth gave the wise men and the shepherds, is given to us 2000+ years later. Even though many of us know the story already, it doesn’t take away from the great thought that Christ’s birth changed everything forever, because of the perfect life He would go on to live, and the sacrificial death He died in order to save us. It’s an amazing story that’s not just a story, but real life. It actually happened!

I hope you all have a sensational Christmas and Happy Holidays! Despite everything that may have gone on this year, finish 2020 meditating on the wonderful news of Christ’s birth and the blessed assurance that He is sitting at the right hand of The Father right now.

God Bless!

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
